Optional Day Out

CCI will be organising an additional one-day optional cultural experience for those that wish to take part.  This will be at an additional cost of approximately $200 per person and includes transport and entry fees but not food or overnight accommodation.

The plan for the day is a one-day tour (23 Oct) in and around Nairobi City that may include the following:

1.    Nairobi National Park

2.    Sheldrick elephant orphanage 

3.    Giraffe Centre

4.    Maasai Market (African accessories and art pieces)

5.    View of Nairobi Central business District from a vantage point​

The total cost for all of the above will be USD $200 per person (this is subject to change in line with the prices of entry for the locations)

At the end of the day we will be dropped off at Radix Hotel which is 30mins from JKIA airport - we are currently negotiating a price for the Radix Hotel - you are welcome to book this hotel or make your own alternative arrangements.  We are also trying to organise transport directly to the airport at the end of the day if people prefer.  We will update you with more information here as soon as we know.

If you choose to join this day out then you will need to book your flight home from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi for 24 Oct
