Global Leadership Program details:

​

The CCI Global Leadership Program (GLP) consists of two separate programs, one for Emerging Leaders and one for Executive Leaders.  Learning with other camp leaders from around the world this program will weave leadership experiences, models, insights and conversations to give you both a helpful framework and powerful tools to apply to the real life challenges and opportunities you face.

GLP – Emerging Leaders Overview

 

This program is led by John McAuley from The Leadership studio, Canada and is aimed for those relatively new to leadership or looking to move into leadership.

​

Criteria to consider for this program:

  • Age 20-35 (this is a guide only)

  • Start of career/emerging leaders in the CCI network

  • 2 or more years of professional experience in Christian camping (but less than 5 years)

  • A commitment to Christian camping going forward and a heart for the global mission of Christian camping and with the potential to play a part in Christian camping development in their country or globally

  • An ability and willingness to act as a champion for Christian camping in their peer groups in country or globally

  • Those with a coachable spirit, a desire to learn, and an ability to manage workload with additional monthly meetings and readings

  • Those who are looking to develop their leadership skills to enable them to extend their level of positive influence where they are and also move on to the next level of leadership

  • Are involved in the leadership of camp teams including programming team, food and catering teams or grounds and maintenance teams

  • May be involved in local, regional and national networks or has the capacity to join these networks in the near future

  • Salvation by faith in Jesus Christ, and an understanding of the importance of a life fully committed to the will of God in Christ​

GLP – Executive Leaders Overview

 

This program is led by Rob Ribbe, lead Professor at HoneyRock of Wheaton College, Illinois for those in senior roles in camp ministry.

Criteria to consider for this program:

  • Experieced/executive leaders in the CCI network

  • 5 or more years of experience in Christian camping

  • Those who are looking for re-invigorated vision and skills for the next phase and/or level of leadership

  • A desire to promote creativity, ministry effectiveness, and continual learning throughout your organisation

  • A desire for holistic development -spiritually, theologically, and practically

  • A commitment to Christian camping going forward

  • Those with the desire to play a significant part in Christian Camping development in country or globally

  • An ability and willingness to act as a champion for Christian camping in their peer groups in country or globally

  • A heart for the global mission of Christian camping

  • Salvation by faith in Jesus Christ, and an understanding of the importance of a life fully committed to the will of God in Christ​
