Introducing Dr. Rob Ribbe
Across our global network, God is raising up leaders with wisdom, courage, and theological depth. The future of Christian camping leadership will not be built in one place, but will be revealed and mobilized from many.
We are grateful to announce that Dr. Rob Ribbe is stepping into the role of Director of the Global Leadership Program (GLP) for Christian Camping International.
As the Global Leadership Program continues to grow, Rob will work with a global team to shape its next chapter through a multiplication model — equipping regional leaders to form and mentor others in their own cultural contexts and languages.
Rob brings decades of experience in leadership development through HoneyRock and Wheaton College, where he has faithfully served the Christian camping movement with theological depth, academic rigor, and a deep commitment to spiritual formation. Many in our global family already know Rob through his many years of involvement with CCI and his facilitation of GLP Executive cohorts.
HoneyRock and Wheaton College remain valued partners in leadership development for the global camping movement, and we are grateful for the shared history and ongoing collaboration that support this work.
This new season clarifies his role as he focuses on developing a multiplication model for GLP. The aim is not centralized growth, but distributed formation. Rather than one primary cohort, we envision regionally rooted expressions of GLP led by trained facilitators within their own contexts — shaped by local language, culture, and missional realities while remaining connected to a shared theological foundation.
Importantly, this strengthens the existing GLP team and adds new seats at the table. Jennie Davies, John McAuley, Chris Mitchell, and Dr. Muhia Karianjahi remain fully engaged and vital to the program’s future. Their experience, wisdom, and relational investment have shaped GLP from the beginning and will continue to guide its development. Together, this team reflects the global and relational architecture of CCI’s leadership vision — intercultural, interdenominational, and deeply collaborative.
Across our associations and relational networks, we see gifted leaders ready to teach, mentor, and shape the next generation. Our task is not to manufacture leadership, but to steward and mobilize what God has already woven into this global family.
