Christian Camping International (CCI) is an alliance of 19 associations around the world. CCI supports Christian camps and camping leaders in 60 countries.
Christian camping is known to exists in an additional 40 countries
without the support of local associations.
Believing that Christian camping is a powerful method to impact people for God’s glory, CCI desires to see Christian camping grow around the world.
On the 20th of each month, CCI encourages people to pause and ask God to raise up the 20th association of camps and camping leaders.
The world is full of conflict and tension. Families fight, legislatures bicker, companies compete, and nations go to war. Christian camping experiences differences of opinion from time to time, but there is a deeper bond that unifies people throughout this small but strategic worldwide ministry.
CCI-Worldwide is committed to six fundamental values that unify the movement: Unity, Autonomy, Sharing, Community, Growth, and Sustainability. The expanded version is printed below.

The shared values of Christian Camping International-Worldwide are:
UNITY We value the global bonding found in a common faith, a singular purpose and shared values.
AUTONOMY We value the variety of unique methods of organization, operation, training, networking and promotion found throughout the world.
SHARING We value sharing successful practices, resources and prayer support.
COMMUNITY We value the powerful and positive life transformation that occurs in relational ministry.
GROWTH We value the wise use of resources, improving performance and the expanding influence of Christian camping.
SUSTAINABILITY We value principles and practices that assure good financial stewardship, responsible management and long-term results.
To live out these values, the CCI-Worldwide Board has called a Worldwide Summit near Madrid, Spain, for April 19-24, 2012. Board Members, Regional Representatives, and two participants from each Association have been invited to attend this meeting.
Meeting face to face is expensive but valuable. Personal interaction builds Unity, supports each Association’s Autonomy, Shares successful practices, resources and prayer, builds Community, strategizes for Growth, and teaches Sustainability practices.
Eight months from today we plan to be together learning, planning, bonding, praying, and encouraging one another.
Please pray for this strategic event. Please pray for the planning, fundraising, logistics, language challenges, and visa requirements for many of the participants. We want to live out these values and encourage the core of our membership so that we will be better prepared to support the Christian camping movement and see it grow throughout the world.
